Photographer Ryan Peterman shoots Constant Reminder

One of the two covers for our 2014 Spring Edition featured a young rock band from James Smith First Nation called Constant Reminder.

This past February, the boys of Constant Reminder and their father Luther Constant and writer Karen Cay made the trip to Regina from Kinistino, SK. The trip was for a photo shoot that took place at the famed Leftboot Studios by professional photographer, Ryan Peterman.

Most of RezX’s cover shoots have taken place here (with the exception of Bill Stevenson Photography (The Four Cover) and SweetMoon Photography (Eekwol cover). It has always been a great experience working with Ryan Peterman, who has shot some amazing covers for RezX over the past year.

So while Ryan Peterman took hundreds of shots of the band, RezX Publisher, Chris Tyrone Ross, was there to capture everything behind the scenes, with pictures and videos. So here are some rough cuts of this cover shoot – enjoy!
