March Horoscopes 2015 – The short spring edition

JANUARY Kisê-pîsim – The Great Moon – Deer

Sports! Getting out of the gymnasiums and into the street! Keep organizing events and participate in others but keep active! You’re inspiring the next generation of alley stars to dream about becoming superstars!

FEBRUARY Mikisiwi-pîsim– The Eagle Moon – Eagle

Education still needs to be a consideration even though you think you’re getting older. Truth is you’re still a young buck and more than capable of learning new tricks!

MARCH Niski-pîsim – The Goose Moon – Cougar

Organize your pails and start planning your berry meals again for you know your secret frozen berry stash isn’t going to last much longer. Fresh is always better anyway!

APRIL Ayikî-pîsim – The Frog Moon – Beaver

Read a book about something that will make you think, expand the boarders of your knowledge base and you’ll be surprised at the new found wisdom you find.

MAY Sâkipakâwi-pîsim – The Budding Moon – Bear

Don’t forget to wash that old rez beater as that winter road salt will rust the doors right off and right now the rust on there is the only thing holding it together. Duct tape wouldn’t be a bad investment.

JUNE Pâskâwihowi-pîsim – The Hatching Moon – Thunderbird

When you buy your honey their favorite flower remember, Robin Hood isn’t an acceptable choice. No matter how good the bannock is…

JULY Paskowi-Pîsim – The Moulting Moon – Coyote

With the promise of new growth this season you need to do some personal introspective and think about what you really want this new season. As a caterpillar transforms into a new butterfly you need to see your own transformation come to pass.

AUGUST Ohpahowi-pîsim – The Flying Up Moon – Mouse

At different stages in our lives we need to learn new ways of interacting with our peers, the ones we like, don’t like, hate, love – all of them. How you handled situations in high school should not be the way you do it today.

SEPTEMBER Nôcihitowi-pîsim– The Mating Moon – Salmon

Spring is in the air, the birds are chirping again, the snow is melting and pretty soon the ground will be covered in green! Celebrate this new season with a family meal with the last of your jarred veggies and frozen meat!

OCTOBER Pinaskâwi-pîsim – The Migrating Moon – Turtle

Tax season is upon us! Paying off big debts! Investing for a rainy day! Buying practicable needs for the vehicle! House hold needs! Remember, the pawn shop is not an investment opportunity!

NOVEMBER Iyikopiwi-pîsim – The Frost Moon – Wolf

Put a fire under those beading projects, pow wow season is coming up quick!

DECEMBER Pawâcakinasîsi-pîsim – The Frost Exploding Trees Moon – Spider

It’s time to come out of hibernation put the winter clothes away and break out the socks and sandals, the t-shirts, the shorts and give a nod to Grandfather Sun for renewing the cycle of life on Mother Earth!
