RezXSouth got a chance to chat with “big” time pow wow and round dance singer Rikishi aka Nathan Pelly Gardypie about his recent round dance CD.

REZXSOUTH: So Rikishi, why does your CD rock?

NATHAN “RIKISHI” PELLY GARDYPIE: Well It rocks because I’m on it lol jk and my brother Brad Crain. You have two of the best song makers in all of Indian Country. Brad has always been known as one of the best singers and song makers of our time. As for myself I just started making songs not to long ago but I have made a few hits in my time. Our CD is one of the most anticipated CD’s of 2013. Also we are nominated for best hand drum CD at Manito Ahbee Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards.
