MUSIC REVIEW: BILLY GRIND – RATING: 4 OUT OF 5 STERLINGS

Billy Grind is a local alt-country band with roots and rock influences. Their first cd debuted May 10th this year and things have been steadily climbing since. Their single ‘Righting a Wrong’ is currently #2 on the National Aboriginal Countdown. Conrad Bigknife has been showcasing his skills as a lead vocalist, writer and showman for some time and in Billy Grind he also plays bass along side his brother Buck Bigknife holding it down on the drums. Brett Johnstone rounds out this trio with his great work on lead guitar complimenting the great melodies they’ve created.
